In January President Aoun announced an institutional reorganization designed to purposefully integrate learning and discovery holistically across our entire global university system. This transformation will support us in meeting and exceeding our ambitious Northeastern 2025 goals. As we reimagine ourselves we invite you to provide perspective and insights.
In this new organizational structure Chancellor Henderson will oversee undergraduate and experiential learning, student affairs, enrollment management, digital and mobile learning, lifelong learning—including our regional campuses—and our PhD Network. This assembly of student-centered functions will enable the kind of holistic and co-curricular learning that we envisioned in Northeastern 2025.
As the university’s chief academic officer, Provost Bean will lead all of our schools and colleges as well as overseeing our expanding research enterprise. He will continue to lead academic affairs, academic finances, and information technology.
To ensure that this transition meets our shared goals over the course of the spring we will be engaging with faculty and staff across the university to discuss ideas, answer questions and gather feedback. We invite you to share your thoughts and ideas below.
