Director, Entrepreneurship

Ted brings a wealth of innovative experience to Northeastern. As a serial entrepreneur, CEO and board member, he has an extensive background in leading and growing businesses such as PlumChoice, a leading national remote services company. As a mentor, he has worked with over 40 companies spanning IOT, digital health, and services industries, through mentoring services at MIT, BU and Northeastern. He worked for the MIT Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) as part of their entrepreneurial ecosystem, matching ventures with mentors. As an investor, Ted has been active in area investment groups through Launchpad and Hub Angels.

Ted joins us from Boston University, where he served as an adjunct professor for Questrom School of Business, teaching Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship to engineers.

Ted received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Northeastern University. He is a lifelong advocate of creative thinking at all levels of education, and of connecting community, investors, employees, customers and industry partners to create impact through entrepreneurial efforts.

As Director of Entrepreneurship, Ted will oversee the Center for Research Innovation (CRI), and develop programming to assist faculty and staff commercialize their research. Ted will report directly to the Provost.
