Diverse Opportunities to Inform & Teach Program Grants

The DO IT! Mini-Grant Program, launched fall 2014, is an opportunity for staff, faculty, and students to access funds to create collaborative programs that further OIDI’s mission to inform and teach about the importance of diversity and inclusion.

This effort is designed to support individuals and groups on campus who have creative and collaborative diversity, equity, and inclusion programmatic ideas.

The funding process is simple, with a brief application, required proposal outline, and projected budget from each collaborative team. Proposals may be funded for up to $1,250. The DO IT! Mini-Grant Program supports new programs and initiatives that have not been created or executed in the past. Funding cannot go towards purchasing swag items for your program or event.

This year, we created the DO IT! Again Grant. Consider applying for a DO IT! Again Grant if you would like to repeat a prior DO IT! Grant-funded program or event. Proposals may be funded for up to $1,000. This grant also includes programs and initiatives that have been previously executed, but did not receive the DO IT! Grant previously.
