Cognos Analytics is live!
The Business Intelligence and Data Administration teams would like to announce that the new Cognos Analytics reporting environment is available beginning today! Now located at insights360.neu.edu, Cognos Analytics allows you to run reports interactively and in a more visual manner complete with dashboards.
As you explore the new environment, visit the Data Administration SharePoint site to help you get started.
Answers to most common questions about Cognos Analytics can be found in the FAQ. However, if you are experiencing more serious issues please follow the instructions in Support section to enter a ticket in Service Now. You will be contacted by a member of the Business Intelligence team to discuss your issue or question.
Training
An introduction and overview handout covering key functionalities of Cognos Analytics can be found on the Data Administration SharePoint site. It’s a great way to get started using the new environment.
Sign ups are available on SharePoint for two training sessions: one on November 28th and a second on December 12th. If you would like to arrange an additional 1:1 training for yourself or have a special session for your unit or department, contact Data Administration.
There will also be walk-in labs held on November 21st and December 19th
Feedback
If you have any questions about the functionality of Cognos Analytics, please fill in the Customer Feedback form in the customer Feedback and Support Section(under training/user group option Category) and someone from our team will get back to you. You can also share your questions and seek feedback from your peers by posting them on our user discussion board (Chatter Group).
The first 15 minutes of each user group session will also be dedicated to questions about the new Cognos environment to continue providing opportunities for learning and support.
