UDS gives back at the Greater Boston Food Bank

Last week the University Decision Support (UDS) team volunteered at the Greater Boston Food Bank for an afternoon. It was the second time the team has helped the organization with a federal program that supports senior citizens.

During the afternoon, the team packed, organized, sealed, and loaded 144 boxes of food, each weighing about 30 pounds. That’s over 4,300 lbs – more than two tons! All said it was a perfect job: UDS received a score of 100% with everything packed correctly and claimed the honorary spot on the whiteboard.
