Carolyn Bargoot is the Deputy Provost at Northeastern University where she provides the day-to-day leadership, as well as the strategic planning and oversight of all the functional areas in the Office of the Provost, including communications, budget and planning, human resources (non-faculty), external reporting, and major academic facilities projects. In addition, she provides oversight and coordination of all aspects of the administrative support resources in the office.
Carolyn comes to Northeastern from Boston College where she served in several administrative roles in the Controller’s Office, the Office for Sponsored Programs, and the Office of the Provost. Prior to her time at Boston College, Carolyn was employed at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Johnson and Johnson. Carolyn earned her MBA from the D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and her undergraduate degree at Babson College.
