Dr. Maureen O’Shea is a developmental/educational psychologist with extensive experience in teaching, applied research and strategic planning. She earned a BA from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the Graduate Center of CUNY.
Dr. O’Shea joined Northeastern University in March 2020 as the inaugural Director of Institutional Assessment and Evaluation. Prior to this role, she led institutional effectiveness and assessment efforts at two institutions, most recently Cape Cod Community College. She had previously worked in research and strategic planning in the public health and nonprofit sector in Newark, New Jersey, and has served on the faculty of College of St. Elizabeth, Upsala College and Montclair State University in New Jersey.
